The idea
Meander is for travelers who would rather experience a place than conquer it.
Meander isn’t a traditional travel blog built around checking destinations off a list. It’s a collection of stories, recommendations, discoveries, and lessons from the road.
Travel doesn’t have to mean racing from landmark to landmark, squeezing every recommendation into an itinerary, or measuring a trip by how much you managed to see. Sometimes the best way to experience somewhere new is simply to give yourself time to wander.
To take the long way.
To sit in a café and watch the city go by.
To walk into the little shop that caught your eye. Discover a local artist. Browse a neighborhood bookstore. Order the dish you’ve never tried. Find a quiet garden. Linger over afternoon tea. Change your plans because something interesting appeared around the corner.
Meander celebrates those moments.

The Meander in Chief
Hi, I’mJennine.
I started Meander because I’ve always loved documenting my travels and sharing the places, discoveries, and little lessons I pick up along the way with friends.
I’m a firm believer in slow travel. I have no interest in rushing from one attraction to the next just to cross places off a list. My favorite way to discover somewhere new is simply to wander, preferably with no agenda and plenty of time to follow whatever catches my attention.
There’s something wonderful about leaving room for spontaneity. It’s often how you stumble across the neighborhood bookstore, tiny café, local artist, quiet street, or unexpected conversation that becomes the thing you remember most.
So take your time. Wander a little. Let’s meander together.

Small discoveries worth sharing
A memorable dish. A neighborhood restaurant. A beautiful café. An independent shop. A bookstore. A garden. A local maker. A place worth stopping.
Think of them as postcards sent from the road: I found this. You should know about it.

Conversations about the places that stay with you
Some places linger long after you leave. These are conversations about first impressions, unexpected moments, changed perspectives, and the memories that followed us home.
04 · In Retrospect
The things travel teaches you along the way
What worked. What didn’t. What I packed and never touched. What I wish I’d brought. Lessons learned after miles of walking, missed connections, changing weather, unexpected discoveries, and trips that rarely unfold exactly as planned.

The Meander Philosophy
You don’t need a month in a destination to travel slowly.
Unhurried travel isn’t necessarily about how long you stay. It’s about what you do with the time you have.
See the famous places if you want to. Make reservations. Have a plan.
Just leave some room for everything you couldn’t have planned.
Because a trip isn’t successful because you saw everything.
Sometimes the best part is simply being somewhere.
